RDX 5 Foot Heavy Bag Boxing Set

This is a quick look at the 5 foot Heavy Punch Bag Boxing set from RDX, we purchased this complete boxing set off ebay for about £50.

The RDX Boxing set comes complete with a medium weight pair of bag gloves which seem pretty decent along with a set of handwraps, skipping rope, hand grips and all attachments to hang the bag.

Initially for £50, we didn't expect to get much bang for our buck but to our suprise we were very happy with the product. The bag itself is coated with strong leather-like synthetic material that may seem a little bit tacky at first glance but has proven to be quite durable. The bag is zippable, meaning more or less filing could be added if needed although we didn't need to modify the product at all.

We had to use a couple of cable ties to help secure the chains to the hangers on the top of the bag, only because we found our upper cuts were enough to make the bag bounce off the chains on occasion, a few simple cable ties sorted this problem and this could happen with any brand of punch bag.

Overall, the RDX Boxing set seems a pretty decent bit of kit for the budget end of the market, ours is now over two years old and has taken a daily pounding of heavy punches and remains in supurb condition, a well recomended product from RDX.
